What is this website all about?
I’m a music producer, engineer and songwriter with a recording studio in Times Square, the heart of New York City.. I specialize in working with solo recording artists in many genres.
Here, at different times, I will shed light on the recording and creative process as well as write some personal articles, reviews, etc… The relationship between an artist and their producer is an extremely personal one, so perhaps here you may get to know me a little better and decide if I might be a good match for you as an artist.
I work well in most genres. Most solo artists really need a producer to guide them through the whole recording process. I am well set up to work this way. Having my own studio makes this more affordable for the artist, because they can hire a producer and studio with one fee. I can assist, when desired, with finding musicians, creating arrangements, and songwriting in addition to engineering, top-notch vocal production, mixing and basic mastering.
I am very strong with Pop, R&B, Dance, Pop-Rock, Musical Theatre and Singer-Songwriters in addition to other styles. I usually DON’T work with Traditional Jazz, Heavy (screaming) Rock, Street-Styled Rap, or Uber-Alternative sounding indie music as I feel there are much better people to help you achieve your desired sound in those genres. I occasionally work with full bands, but my studio is primarily an overdub studio, and only certain bands are really suited to work within the necessary workflow.
